V.I.P. Petfoods DJR #49 Falcon

FG Falcon - Chassis 0015

What it's best remembered for at DJR: Jonathon Webb's first V8 Supercar Championship race win at the 2010 Sydney Telstra 500.

Acquired by Jonathon Webb for the 2010 V8 Supercar Championship Series, having previously been Craig Lowndes' 888 car in early 2009. The car was brought to DJR to prepare and run the car throughout the 2010 season.

Raced as a third DJR car (#19) during the year, initially with backing from Canadian Club, with Mother Energy Drink becoming the major sponsor of the car from Townsville onwards. Webb drove the car all season, joined by David Russell at Phillip Island and Bathurst, along with Sebastien Bourdais at the Gold Coast 600. A brilliant strategy, along with smart driving in wet conditions delivered Webb his first race win in the Saturday race at Homebush. 2010 Championship Result: 13th.

Webb retained this car for 2011, preparing and racing the car as his own team, separate from DJR.

Chassis 0015 has returned to DJR in 2012, with Steve Owen racing the car as the #49 VIP Petfoods entry, as the DJR team expands to four V8 Supercar Championship Series entries for the first time.
